Spanish Lessons

Instruction and tutoring will be based on the skill level of the individual.  I will offer instruction, and exercises, and (when applicable) assistance with homework exercises.  It is important to note that I will not be helping the students do their homework, rather I will help them understand the concepts covered in their assignments so that they may better understand the exercises.  Instruction is open to both adults and youth.

My experience:

• I am fluent in Spanish
• Spanish minor at Valparaiso University: 3 years of study.
• 1 month intensive language study in Guadalajara, Mexico.  Summer of 2006.
• Spanish Tutor for 1 year at Valparaiso.
• 2 years service as an interpreter  in El Salvador.
• 2 years service as an English Teacher in El Salvador.
• One time visiting Spanish teacher, in Bloomington, Illinois.

Times for Spanish lessons can be determined on a case by case basis.  I’ll work with your schedule.

Either a Group class may be offered when we meet, or individual private tutoring, depending on the preference of the student(s).

Group Class:  $15 per class

Private Tutoring: $25 per hour
